The Breakfast of Champions

The Big One spoilt me rotten this weekend. He picked me up from the station and promptly took me to get a Chinese takeaway complete with my favourite naughty side dish 'prawn balls'...sooo good, soo bad but soooo good.

The next day, Saturday, we lazed about together and watched movies and generally didn't leave each other's side, just as I wanted it. Oh and he cooked dinner, my favourite veggie bolognese.

Schwing!

Sunday morning, he made me short stack pancakes with banana and honey served up with a glass of fresh mango juice!

Mega Yums!
So to even the situation out I took him out for breakfast this morning before he had to go to work. Breakfast Club baby yeah! We both had AmAzior smoothies followed by Eggs Royale pour moi and the full American breakfast complete with pancakes and syrup pour homme.

We were StUfFeD!

My London Was Peaceful and Gorgeous

Well no doubt you've heard about the insane rioting spreading across London as I type. It is mass looting and vandalism, there's no sense of protest, no cause, no voice wanting to be heard just gangs of kids hell bent on destruction. To attack your own communities like this is so abhorrent to me. There are innocent people trapped and terrified in their homes as mobs kick in the windows of the local electrical and trainer shops.

I really really hope it ends as soon as possible because frankly it's embarassing.

I spent my last day for 5 weeks today in the East End of London and it was beautiful.  The sun was shining, the sky was blue and all was well. I took some pics to share the day with you.

T.G.I.F!

I walk past this pretty row of houses every day.

The weather today here in Belfast was gorgeous, right from the get go the sun was shining and there was  barely a cloud in the sky. We started rehearsals this morning with a run through, the first run aka a stagger through of the play and it went....ok.

I skipped back home afterwards as I'm going home to London for the weekend! See The Big One, Gary and Cooper and my garden and just be, at home, being me.

Hope you all have FaBuLoUs weekends whatever you end up doing!

Currently Knitting...

Having finished The Big One's Hat (pics coming soon) and the lace shawl I have now cast on a cabled beret...I am kind of ObSeSSeD with hats, in particular berets and cabling so this should be perfect right?

Here's hoping!

I'll show you once it's finished, hopefully I'll love it so much I won't want to take it off...

Marc, Marni and BCBG Max Azria are taking me away...

The resort collections are always some of my favourite collections of the year. I love imagining where I would be wearing them, some of the collections not only call for a bottomless purse to purchase but also some serious plastic to wear them on the appropriate cruises, private island getaways etc.

Here were some of my favourite looks...what holiday destinations do you think they'd suit?
